For nearly 50 years, the Cranberry Women’s Club has supported the community through its signature events and fundraising efforts. This dynamic group of women is dedicated to making a difference through charitable work, fostering friendships, and supporting causes that uplift the community.
The social, philanthropic, and civic organization was created in 1976 and is open to women accomplished in career, family, and community involvement. Since then, the group has raised roughly $10,000 yearly through fundraising events. Those funds are given to local non-profits, with 2023-24 organizations, including Cranberry Township EMS, the Cranberry Township Library, and Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company.
In addition to fundraising, the Cranberry Women’s Club hosts monthly activities and events where members socialize and volunteer in the community.
The Club’s three largest fundraising events include the annual Farkleberry Craft Show, which brought more than 90 vendors of handmade wares to the Municipal Center before the holiday season.
Other events are set for the first quarter of 2025, including:
Hearts & Handbags Purse Bash, February 2, 1-4 p.m., Saving Grace Country Store & Consignment; featuring food, shopping, and a chance to win designer handbags
Spring Tea, April 12, 1-3:30 p.m., Cranberry Elks; club members decorate theme tables and invite guests to an afternoon of fellowship, fun, food, and tea.
The club is always open to new members. Click here to learn more.
