Life isn’t always easy, and sometimes you need help.
But finding that support or services isn’t always easy. Who do I turn to? Where do I go?
The Center for Community Resources (CCR) plays a pivotal role in fostering the well-being of individuals and families by connecting them to a comprehensive network of essential supports and services. Their mission is to ensure everyone in the community has access to the resources they need to live, learn, and work in a safe, healthy, and supportive environment.
The non-profit, founded in 2002 and headquartered in Butler, offers various services, including behavioral health support, mental health assistance, substance abuse recovery, and aid for individuals with intellectual disabilities. These services help people manage and overcome challenges and empower them to participate actively in community life. For some, CCR is a lifeline that offers access to programs and resources that may otherwise feel out of reach, helping individuals regain control of their lives and focus on growth and healing.
What makes CCR vital to the community it serves is its unwavering commitment to meeting people where they are and guiding them to the support systems best suited to their needs. Currently, CCR provides services in 67 counties across Pennsylvania and serves over 40,000 people a year.
CTCC is proud to have them as one of our members!
